GATE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for appearing in GATE exam are as follows:

  1. Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final year of such programs.
  2. Individuals with a Master’s degree in Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Applications, or a related field, as well as those currently in the final year of such programs.
  3. Candidates in the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master’s degree programs or Dual Degree programs in Engineering/Technology.
  4. Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g., AMIE by the Institute of Engineers (India); AMICE by the Institute of Civil Engineers (India)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech.
  5. Candidates currently pursuing professional courses, such as Chartered Accountancy (CA) or Cost and Works Accountancy (ICWA), after completing the respective foundation courses.

GATE 2024 Cut Off Marks

The authorities will announce the GATE 2024 cut-off marks following the online exam. There are two categories of cut-offs: Qualifying Cut Off and Admission Cut Off.
